Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class

$ 171,700 - $ 395,500* MRLP

The big-daddy of the SUV range, the Mercedes GLS is the brand’s most capacious seven-seater. It’s bristling with luxury and technology, and buyers can opt for either diesel or petrol power. Most rambunctious – naturally – is the GLS63 AMG. But don’t forget the $380,000 Maybach version as well.

What we love

  • -Brawn with brains – the re-worked 63 engine better suited to this application
  • -Full-tilt technology platform that seems to be there just to make things as comfortable as possible
  • -Ridiculous sound system
MinusIcon

What we don't

  • -The grille works. The lower valance? No thanks.
  • -Look out for your shins!
  • -The majority of 'good bits' are from the regular GLS. How is this $200k more?
